Encourage. Empower. Inspire.

You Go Girl Omaha is an Omaha non-profit committed to encouraging, empowering and inspiring girls and young women. Our mission is to end the cycle of self-doubt and low self-esteem by creating unique experiences that amplify our founding pillars: self-love, self-awareness, wellness, education, and leadership.

Our three driving strategies are (1) Creating unique experiences, (2) Partnering with local non-profits, and (3) Giving back to changemakers impacting their communities.

Here’s how we’re putting those strategies to work:

2019’s Stand Up You Go Girl Annual Summit is on Saturday, September 28 at North High Omaha. Guests include Trishonna Helm, Nadia Spurlock, Dr. Sheena Reynolds, Dr. Cheryl Logan, Marquis “Coach Keys” Barnes and more!

Speaking of Coach Keys, one of the ways we’re giving back is by donating a portion of the proceeds from this year’s summit to further their mission of educating and empowering girls through the importance of sportsmanship, teamwork, commitment, and integrity.

Another way we’re giving back is by awarding scholarships to some local changermakers!

Through community relationships, a multitude of local partners, and a driven community of volunteers and supporters, You Go Girl Omaha is a sustainable and scalable force of good.

We look for success through positive impact measured in the following ways.

  • Community and census input
  • Successful partnerships with Omaha Police Department and surrounding areas to serve communities in need
  • Anonymous feedback surveys for input from the community on activities and events they want and want to get involved with
  • Partnering with local politicians to drive legislation for positive change in our communities and school districts
  • Collaborative community support serving youth
  • Monitoring current issues and implementing relevant and engaging events and experiences that amplify our mission
