“Stand Up” You Go Girl Annual Summit
In partnership with the YMCA & The Keys Foundation
Saturday, September 28, 2019 | Omaha North High
“Stand Up”! We chose this atmosphere because we know girls and young women often experience situations that require them to stand up in these environments.
2019 keynote speakers were Michelle Bandur of KETV, and North High School Alumn Nadia Spurlock. We were also joined by the inspirational Kara Eastman. Halftime featured an incredible performance by Jocelyn Music. See all speakers here.
There was food, games, comedy and music for attendees. We also enjoyed a friendly game of basketball against local nonprofit The Keys Foundation – and we are thrilled to announce we be donated $800 from this year’s summit to further their mission of educating and empowering girls through the importance of sportsmanship, teamwork, commitment, and integrity.
Attendees enjoyed two breakout sessions, lunch on the green with some of Omaha’s favorite food trucks, live DJ Houston Alexander, games, prizes, scholarships, and more!
