Kath Derrison

Kath is a Private Wealth Manager at Hightower Omaha. With 13 years of experience in the industry, through a variety of roles in the UK and USA, Kath specializes in holistic financial planning.

At Hightower Omaha, Kath is committed to a fiduciary, client-first approach. She typically works with successful women and their families, high-net-worth individuals, and business owners and develops long-term, comprehensive goal-orientated plans and strategies. Kath additionally advises fellow expatriates and residents on establishing investments in the United States and maintain a cross-border outlook.

Prior to Hightower, Kath was part of a broker/dealer, after emigrating to the US in November 2016. While in the UK, Kath held a position as a Financial Advisor at a national firm which focused on small business owners and individuals with complex needs. Her focus was on alternative investment research and implementation, complex needs solutions and goal-orientated financial planning.

Kath received a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Wales, Swansea. She holds the US Series 7, Series 66 and her Life Insurance licenses. Whilst not active in the UK, Kath holds the Diploma in Financial Advice, and additional Pension Specialist qualifications.

Kath, her husband Desi, and step-daughter Rivers live in West Omaha. The family all enjoy the same things; travelling to the UK whenever they can, crafting, video-games and movies. Most of Kath’s spare time, apart from family commitments is spent assisting others with financial literacy education, and giving back where she can.
